Food Review: Azur Restaurant Singapore at Crowne Plaza

Couple of week back, attended a food tasting at Azur Singapore Buffet Restaurant located at Changi Airport Crowne Plaza with few of my good friends. My first time visiting and I like the elegant way of restaurant ambient which suit for business and casual dining. The seafood’s buffets at Azur Restaurant were fresh and well-prepared and of course the foods and desserts were delicious too. It definitely worth the price!


Hence, Azur restaurant is an all-day dining restaurant built around a show kitchen concept with chefs presenting a lively multicultural cooking theatre at their live stations. The restaurant serves a la carte menus as well as a wide array of Eastern and Western cuisine on the buffet selection.


As the new line-up buffet campaign at Azur Restaurant, Executive Sous-Chef Alvin Leong has selected eight exquisite well-received creations and will let fans vote for their desired four signature dishes to be featured in the November buffet spread at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport’s Azur. This dining promotion is available for a limited period only from 2 - 11 November 2012.

The epic showdown will see the eight “heavy-weight” favourites in a four versus four voting contest on Facebook (www.facebook.com/cpchangi). Fans can “like” the photo of their favourite team of signatures from 15 – 28 October 2012. The winning team of four signatures will be included in the buffet line during the Azur Signatures Dinner Buffet.

With the theme of Sinfully Rich, Chef Alvin has pulled together, four sexy marvellous dishes: Sea Salt Roasted Crispy Pork Belly with Peri Peri Sauce, Summer Berries Sea Prawn with Minty Plum Sauce, Singapore Style Sri-Lanka Chilli Crab and Durian Mousse Cake.

Lighter on the palate but equally as tantalising on the taste buds are the four contenders in Team B, Absolutely Scrumptious: Char-smoked Duck Supreme with Chocolate Balsamic, Pickle Chilli Steamed Seabass, Black Pepper Sri-Lanka Crab and Mango Passion Cake.
