3D2N Trip to Kota Bharu Kelantan Malaysia

Woohoo! Hi Readers! If you have followed my twitter / facebook / instagram or even checked out my YouTube video, you guys will know that I went to Kelantan Malaysia last weekend and today I am going to share with you guys the fun excitement I had in Kelantan.

“Let’s Go To Kelantan, Malaysia By FireFly!” Yes!! Last weekend, I attended the 3D2N Singapore Media Familiarization trip to Kelantan sponsored by Tourism Malaysia and FireFly Airlines. This was my first time visiting Kelantan Malaysia and I am glad to meet the new and old friends through this media trip too.


We depart from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 via FireFly airline and reached Kota Bharu Airport about 1.30pm. The whole journey took from Singapore to Kota Bharu Kelantan was just about 1.5 hours. It’s fast and I like it a lot! Hence, FireFly Airline provides excellent and safety service on plane too.

Welcome to Kelantan!!! First time here!

Yay! We landed Kota Bharu Kelantan! It was a perfect blue sky with patches of cotton clouds against the humid weather, wonderful day for photography shoot. Awesome! Thanks the team from Tourism Malaysia for the warm welcome at the Kota Bharu Airport and the first place we visited in Kelantan was the Grand Riverview Hotel whereby we having our Chinese cuisine lunch there. Beautiful Chinese style ambient and I love the foods at the restaurant! Yummy!


Followed by check-in to our Hotel at Renaissance Hotel! Yup! Renaissance Hotel is the only five star international class hotel in the Kelantan city with 2 Executive floors and a Club Lounge. It was located in the heart of Kota Bharu’s commercial and shopping district and also close to the domestic airport.



I totally in love with the grand and exquisite hotel room interior design and of course the comfortable king size bed!! Oh yeah! I have an excellent Kelantan bird-eyes view outside my window!!

Wow! Thanks for the golden opportunity whereby we met the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia – Hon. Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed during the conference and dinner at Renaissance Hotel Ballroom. We were appreciated with his exclusive warm-welcome during his speech on stage and it’s my pleasure to meet him in person too.

Alright readers! Let me give you a tour at Kelantan! Time to explore Kelantan Malaysia!!! According to the itinerary plan from Tourism Malaysia, we had visited the tourist’s attractions and activities places in Kota Bharu Kelantan. We came across the street of Kelantan, passed by the farmer villages, seeing the beautiful natural landscape, get to know about their culture delight and also tired out their delicious Kelantan local food. The whole trip for 3D2N was well-planned by Tourism Malaysia and I was amazed by the lovely landscape and friendly people in Kelantan Malaysia.

The living lifestyle in Kota Bharu Kelantan is totally different compare to Singapore. Likewise, many things you can see in Kelantan may not be seen in Singapore. It is a suitable place for people who love to relax, adventure and sigh-seeing in their holiday leisure. My deep impression of Kelantan Malaysia was the admirable landscape and of course the yummy Kelantan foods. Overall, I had an awesome weekend at Kelantan Malaysia!!!
