Food Review: Miam Miam Cafe at Bugis Junction

Hi Readers! Introduce you people the new opened French-Japanese Café at Singapore Bugis Junction which offer delectable dishes made from scratchy and with top-grade ingredients. The fine casual café has the age-old kind of Japanese dining concept and it’s warm with the busy percussion of the kitchen playing in the background.

Chef preparing delicious Miam Miam signature dishes

This was my first time dining at Miam Miam café and I have a good impression with their unique woody interior café design as well as their dishes were well-prepared and delicious. Miam Miam practices their healthy quality lifestyle in designing a perfect meal suitable for all round ages.

Hence, each portion of raw pasta measures 110g and is then doused in boiling water and cooked for exactly 7.5 minutes to achieve the perfect bite and that elusive al dente texture.

Riz Au Curry - $15.50

Miam Miam Spaghetti - $15.80

Squid Ink Pasta - $16.80

Souffle De Nuage - $15.50

I love the food at Miam Miam Café! Yummy! Likewise, the price range at Miam Miam Cafe were about $10-$20, is reasonable and recommended to have your gathering with friends there. Brunch and dinner menu are available at Miam Miam Café.

Notre Dame De Paris Musical Review

Thank You Base Entertainment Asia; I was honour to get invited to catch the live spectacular Notre Dame De Paris musical performance at Marina Bay Sands MasterCard Grand Theatre. It was based on the story of the Hunch Back of Notre-Dame. This was their first time performed in Singapore in English this majestically show tells the story of Quasimodo the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Esmeralda the Gypsy girl, in one of the most powerful love stories in history on par with Romeo and Juliet.

The Notre Dame De Paris performance was awesome! I like their excellent well-decoration on the interior stage and its amazing vocal and also the performance climax adding in a little shadow play and their dance choreography was perfectly in sync with the background music. Is worth watching it!!

Notre Dame de Paris has been staged over 4000 times in 20 other countries, including Italy, Great Britain and the United States, receiving standing ovations every night.

The musical spectacular is the creation of lyricist Luc Plamondon and composer Richard Cocciante, whom have both won numerous awards for their work and is directed by Gilles Maheu. The English lyrics were written by Will Jennings, Oscar-winner for “My heart Will Go On” from the smash-hit film Titanic.

“It’s a well-known story which stands up on its own and doesn’t need to be explained. That’s why there area at least a dozen films based on the Victor Hugo novel, from the silent era to the recent Disney animation,” said Luc Plamandon.

It's time to Ring Out the Bells!!! Notre Dame De Paris musical performance will be available in Singapore starting from 17 December 2013 to 11 January 2014 at MasterCard Grand Theatre. Check out the tickets price detail below here:

Support Singapore Bloggers Campaign Video: We Are Bloggers

Hello Readers!!! And warm greeting to all Singapore Blogger here! Welcome back to my blog!! It’s near Christmas season and I guess you people are busy preparing Christmas gift right? Today, I am going to introduce my first campaign video collaboration with The Influencer Network (TIN) Singapore.

The campaign itself and the video concept is basically related to Bloggers, on what bloggers means, what does bloggers do and how bloggers deliver their point of view on their blog. With the script given, I directed and produced this promo video as ‘We Are Bloggers’ – an essentially a cause to get Singaporean's Support for the good work of Bloggers in Singapore.

Storyboard of this short promo video!

Some Behind-the-Scene Photos Here

Here is the ‘We Are Bloggers’ Campaign Video!!

Press Release:
Local Bloggers in Singapore have gathered to ask the general public to support their craft by sharing their publicity video and to sign an online form. A cause #SupportSGBloggers has been created to let Singaporeans show their support and appreciation for the hard work of Bloggers in Singapore.

The image of bloggers has suffered due to recent controversies on bloggers demanding freebies from merchants such as restaurants or salons, etc. The job as a blogger has always been a difficult and thankless one. To bring the softer, up-to-date and important news to the general public, it demands time, effort, passion and determination to curate & perfect the content.

The campaign hopes to encourage Singaporeans to say 'YES' to the work of bloggers and to recognise the value of blogs and microsites in helping them make their day-to-day important decisions.

Hong Peng, a blogger who blogs at http://hpility.blogspot.sg/, and a director for the publicity video ‘We are Bloggers’ opined ‘This is a very timely and meaningful movement to get Singaporeans’ support on our craft. I have been blogging since 2007 and I take pride in attending events and launches, and bringing up-to-date information to all my readers. I see my job as an important one as it affects my readers’ decisions in all areas of their lives. I blog to see things differently and I hope Singaporeans can see the hard work we put in as bloggers’.

Wee Heng, a popular blogger who blogs at http://www.aspirantsg.com said, ‘Participating in this video has allowed like-minded bloggers to come together for a common goal, and simply, to share our joy and love for blogging, as this unique craft has been widely misunderstood. All of us have a deep passion and mission for blogging and we ensure our blog entries are professional. We hope Singaporeans can come forward to show us their support in this regard’.

Singaporeans can access https://www.causes.com/campaigns/70778-raise-awareness-on-the-craft-of-blogging-in-singapore to give their support. The campaign, which has a target of 1000 signatures, ends 31st Jan 2014.

This initiative is spearheaded by The Influencer Network,
the fastest Influencer PR Agency in Singapore.

Ways to support this cause:

  1. Share the Publicity Video on Facebook and Social networks
  2. HashTag #SupportSGBloggers on Twitter and Instagram
  3. Sign the cause at https://www.causes.com/campaigns/70778-raise-awareness-on-the-craft-of-blogging-in-singapore
