Another HOME - NDP Music Video by SINdie

Featured Post

Hi Readers! Welcome back to my blog! Woohoo... Singapore Birthday is coming in about 2 weeks time! So what exciting stuff happening here? Yes!! SINdie Production - "Singapore Independent Films Only" has created a new version of "Home" music video! With a big group of friends help and enthusiastic actor and actress, this film has successfully launched today at SINdie youtube.

The new 'Home' known as "Another Home", the theme is to give everyone a 'ONE version of the song 'Home' you will never forget.' and the purpose of this music video is to celebrate Singapore's National Day in a different way.

In this video, you will see epic sense such as Maid carrying army bag, Singapore General elections rally, Bear appear from nowhere and different kind of occupation available in Singapore!

Friendly artist’s Chua Enlai from Fly Entertainment had also come into this music video, acting as Army Boy! Well, without further explanation, let’s check out the SINdie “Another Home” NDP music below here:

What is The Other National Day 2011 Video all about?
In short, this video is like the Opposition Party. Year after year, we are fed with similar rosy images of a first-world city with hardworking, blissful citizens waxing lyrical about how ‘there’s no place they’d rather be’. And the looks from year to year are converging, so this is a concerted effort to make an alternative fun music video to also say ‘Happy Birthday Singapore, let’s put down our defenses and laugh at ourselves!’

It takes a familiar song – ‘Home’ popularized by Kit Chan and packs a year’s worth of some of the strangest happenings in Singapore into a music video. Needless to say, expect lots of digs at GE 2011. If this takes off and we can get sponsors next year, who knows, ‘The Other National Day Video’ could become an annual production which takes a dig at that particular year’s ‘Uniquely Singaporean’ happenings. At the end of the day, the video needs to reflect the socio-political zeitgeist of that year.

"Another Home" Behind the Scenes:
It was a great opportunities to be a part of this music video and I enjoyed the filming process with all the friendly actor and actress as well as SINdie production team members. As for today, I will be sharing some behind the scenes picture of this music video, hope you guys enjoy seeing it! Hahaha

Fist of Dragon (龍拳) Gala Premiere

Sponsored Post

Last Tuesday, attended the Fist of Dragon (龍拳) movie Gala Premiere with a group of G+ bloggers at Cathay Cineleisure. It was a great opportunities to cover this exclusive movie event together meeting up with the movie director as well as the cast actors at the VIP preview lounge.

Fist of Dragon (龍拳) was director’s Michael Chuah first martial arts movie and I am very glad to meet him in person and also have a better understanding idea about the Fist of Dragon movie after having a short conversation with him. Likewise in this movie, he was the one who acted as Henry Thia nephew.

Signing Best wishes on their Wall!

Granny have many "grand son and daughter"... lol

Without further do, let’s see my review
about Fist of Dragon (龍拳) Movie!

Fist of Dragon Movie Review:
Looking at the title “龍拳” of this movie, we roughly know that this movie talks about martial arts (KungFu) fighting and etc. However, after watching, I could say that it was an awesome movie with its perfection of martial art fighting in some of the scenes. It has a well planned story flow in this movie, not too draggy, in fact it focus more on its martial art fighting itself.

Despite of seeing violent scenes, it actually has a short story behind this movie. A group of people living in a small village which controlled by those triad, everyday collecting money from the village people and things getting into a worst situation where this guy’s Li (Michael Chuah) appear…

Talking about its Kung Fu fight, it was an eyes opened fight in the movie. The movie climax increases as the time goes along and I can see the endurance as well as the perseverance of Li characters. 愈强者强 ,愈弱者弱, the final skill of its fight impressed and caught my eyes attention and I pretty enjoy the whole fighting scenes in this Fist of Dragon movie.

In this world, there are good and bad guy… Well, this movie tells us about the powerful of unity in life. A small problem may solve by one person but when it comes to big problem, this is where unity comes in. Everyone should united as one and allowing the word of “trust” to flow along between one another.

Lastly, I would rate Fist of Dragon (龍拳) Movie 4/5 star. Hope everyone enjoy watching this martial art movie too! It will be officially release on 4th August 2011 in Singapore. Don’t miss the fight! Haha... With that, I end my review here.

Fist of Dragon Movie Synopsis:
FIST OF DRAGON tells the story of Li, who comes to South East Asia by the request of his father to help out his uncle who has been facing financial difficulties. Li, upon arriving in the town, feels out of place due to the differences in cultures of the people here.

When he discovers that his uncle has been facing many hardships posed by the local mobsters, Li decides to stay and to help his uncle and get rid of them. However, Li encounters numerous resistances from the locals as Li's action brings the wrath of the triad and drags the whole town into turmoil.

Moreover, his uncle's daughter, Lily is on the triad side, and their relationship is badly affected when the confrontation between the two groups reaches its peak.

Twisted (撞鬼) Movie Review

Twisted (撞鬼) Movie Review:
" ‘Twisted’ revolves around a Drug Dealer (played by Mark Lee) whose life is messed up after ending his relationship with a young girl. 2 con men who wanted to change for better after leading several years of their life coning others for money. 4 cabin crews (starring Randell Tan, Calvin Soh, Tracy Lee & Linda Liao), their lives have changed drastically after a fateful night of alcohol and drugs…

3 different stories of individuals show their fates intertwine and paths clash due to a series of twisted encounters… 3/5

A bizarre looking poster gives the audience that this show is pretty scary and promising… Overall, this movie is watchable as a whole, just that the storyline is very cliché especially the last story starring Zhu Mi Mi, the veteran actress from Hong Kong… The scary components are pretty well set-up."
